Information below based on each position:

Assistant Manager

Requirements:

  • Available to work entire season

  • Available weekends, nights, and major holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day Weekends Mandatory)

  • Available to work 40 to 50 hours per week

  • Reliable transportation

  • 2-5 years experience in restaurant or management

The Manager must be responsible for enthusiastically leading and motivating the restaurant team to achieve the highest levels of customer service satisfaction. The Manager ensures that each visit by a customer results in friendly and personalized service, with great food that is promptly delivered in a clean and inviting environment. In addition, you will manage all aspects of the daily operations of a restaurant to maximize sales, profits and a positive customer experience.  The manager is responsible for overseeing entire restaurant and employees, along with communicating effectively with general and district managers.  Please read the description of our Ice Cream Scooper position below so you can get a grasp on what kind of employees you will be leading!

All employees are required to sign a seasonal contract to work all holidays and finish the season to receive a monetary bonus.  If you are not able to work until September 30th, this is not the job for you.

Head Cook

Requirements:

  • Available to work entire season

  • Available weekends, nights, and major holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day Weekends Mandatory)

  • Available to work 50 hours per week

  • Reliable transportation

  • 2-5 years experience in restaurant or kitchen

  • Able to read English

The head cook is responsible for monitoring and managing the staff of about 5 strong team members.  We are looking for someone who is experienced in cooking on a flat top grill and fryer.  Able to clean fryers and other kitchen appliances.  Cleanliness is our top priority at Richman's.  Other responsibilities would include direct food handling, managing food temperatures, inventory stock, following health and safety guidelines, and handling kitchen related concerns.  We are looking for someone who will communicate with the front of the house management.  If you are able to work in a fast paced environment, while being able to lead and direct by example, we want to meet you.

Prep Cook

Requirements:

  • Available to work entire season

  • Available weekends, nights, and major holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day Weekends Mandatory)

  • Available to work 25-40 hours per week (Full and Part time available)

  • Reliable transportation

  • Kitchen experience preferred but not required

Preparation of food - Includes cutting potatoes, onions, etc. Ability to work under pressure, take direction, and work effectively in a team environment. Gain knowledge of Fry, Flat-top, and Prep Stations. Learning to open and close the kitchen as a whole. When called upon, step in and lead line for varying amounts of time. Minimum 1 year experience in a restaurant kitchen setting. Leadership experience is a plus.

Ice Cream Scooper

Requirements:

  • Available to work entire season

  • Available weekends, nights, and major holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day Weekends Mandatory)

  • Available to work 15 - 20 hours per week (Mainly nights and weekends)

  • Reliable transportation

  • No experience needed - Great first job.

Our Ice Cream associates are the first face our customers see when they step up to our serving windows.  This is a great opportunity to get experience working in a fast paced environment, while learning how to deliver the utmost customer service.  This is a part time job, unless otherwise discussed.  Generally looking for someone who is enthusiastic, hard working, passionate, and ready to work with a young brand.  We have a staff of about 20 people who all work very closely together.  This is not just a job, its a way of life!!  We don't mess around when it comes to ice cream.  Main responsibility include the following:  customer service, ice cream prep, stock and filling product, and cleaning at the end of the busy night!
